How can I manage or cancel my coffee subscription?
You can do this by logging into your account and clicking the manage subscription link. There you can skip individual weeks, pause, cancel and renew your subscription with ease.
Best coffee subscription in the UK
The Secret Caffeine Club was founded by a coffee enthusiast for coffee enthusiasts. Our founder, Rich, is passionate about coffee and loves to visit many different independent roasters to experience the UK's best coffee. But, he also loves convenience… and getting to a new roaster each week to restock just isn’t ideal. So, for a long period, he’d signed up to a popular online coffee bean subscription but eventually got bored of receiving very similar coffee each week.
The Secret Caffeine Club was born - a speciality coffee bean subscription which brings the best of small independent roasters, online. Each week, we find a brilliant roaster and mail their coffee directly to you… meaning you get to try fantastic, delicious new coffees each week without having to leave the house.
Which coffee roasters do you use?
We are constantly looking for the best independent roasters. We currently have a top secret list of over 100 roasters that we enjoy and you can see the fantastic coffee roasters we have previously featured here. No doubt you are here as a coffee lover too, so please let us know where your favourite local roasters are!
Will you email me a reminder of my coffee subscription?
Yes, we will send you an email before taking payment, giving you the opportunity to skip a week, pause or cancel your subscription. We only want to send you coffee that you want!
Do you use a new coffee roaster every week?
It would be irresponsible for us to claim to use a *new* coffee roaster each week - as there are more weeks in the future than there are new coffee roasters! We aim to send you speciality coffee from a different roaster each week and strive to send from a roaster you haven’t had before (or recently) so that you keep experiencing the magic of each roaster. We also vary the coffee roasts and coffee blends that we send, meaning you will always experience the best coffee in the UK.
When do we send your coffee?
We aim to send coffee each Thursday so that you can enjoy the best coffee beans in the UK over the weekend.
Which grind types do you offer?
We recognise each individual enjoys coffee their own way. We offer wholebean or ground coffee, depending on your preference.

- Drip - A medium grind coffee
- Espresso - A fine grind coffee
- Cafetière - A coarse grind coffee
- Stovetop - A fine grind coffee
- Aeropress - A medium grind coffee
What is speciality coffee?
Otherwise known as Grade 1 coffee, Specialty coffee is a term for the highest grade of coffee available, typically relating to the entire supply chain, using single origin or single estate coffee. The widely accepted definition of specialty coffee is coffee scoring 80 points or above on the 100-point Coffee Review scale. Coffee scoring from 90-100 is graded Outstanding, coffee that scores 85-89.99 is graded Excellent, while coffee scoring 80-84.99 is graded Very Good.
This is very different to the coffee you might pick up at a supermarket, which tends to be much lower of on the coffee review scale. Fortunately, Secret Caffeine Club members only receive the best coffee beans in the UK, speciality grade and hand roasted by independent roasters.
